Personal Update
As you may know, I welcomed my baby, Imogen, in January 2024. It has been a transformative year, and I’ve been on maternity leave since December 2023. With Imogen nearing her first birthday, I’m reflecting and preparing for what’s ahead.
In the new year, I’ll focus on:
A mentorship with Ronnie Yee in hands-on manipulation and grounding, supported by a Dance SK grant.
Continuing education in pain science through my registering body, ISMETA.
As much as I miss seeing you in my private Mitzvah Technique and Itcush Method practice, I’ll be dedicating this time to skill-building and family. I plan to return to regular private sessions in August/September 2025 when Imogen begins daycare.

Maternity Leave
(I’ll miss you!)
As many of you know, we are anticipating the arrival of our new baby at the end of January. I won’t be seeing clients or teaching classes for the upcoming future but I’m happy to offer a couple of options in my absence.
Kana will be coming from Taiwan to help with the arrival of our new little one and to cover my practice for a number of weeks in February/March. She will email with more details on scheduling. Continue to watch for online classes with Kana in the new year.
If you are in Regina and would like to work one to one with a somatic movement practitioner I recommend Caitlin Coflin for private lessons and group classes. Her work is rooted in Bartenieff Fundamentals with a strong knowledge of the Itcush Method exercises and theories. If you’re looking to review your program or revamp your movement practice you can get in touch with her through her website – www.caitlincoflinsomaticmovement.com
I encourage you to continue checking out Dance Core and other classes at www.newdancehorizons.ca and ongoing Feldenkrais offerings by my friend and colleague Johanna Bundon.
Although I’ll be on maternity leave please feel free to reach out with any questions, I might take a while to respond but I’m always happy to hear from you!
